Being an ordinary student in Norway

As the project is coming to its end of the second school year we`re about to reflect on our added knowledge, process and achievements.

Training contracts aiming at competence at a lower level is our main goal.  In order to succeed in reaching our goal, the labor marked must find the students qualified and attractive.  The skills that our students has accomplished while being in school must reflect the needs in our society.

Ink-spot dissemination in Belgium

In the beginning of the project it was rather unclear to us what we were going to undertake. Gradually however it became clearer and clearer. Now we’re already quite pleased with the result for our pupils. The following narratives can illustrate that:

1 An example of the ink spot dissemination theory

A particular teacher was involved in the Investt-project last year. This year he does however not teach in any of the focus classes. As a result he is no longer in the focus group.

Update from Scheppers - INVESTT partner school in Belgium

With the future implementation of the new “M-decree”, focusing on more inclusive education, our school is more and more convinced of the value of UDL and the learning opportunities in the project. The visit of a similar but segregated vocational school gave us a lot of inspiration and feasible ideas and made us even more motivated to invest in inclusive teaching.

As busy as a bee in Slovenia

At Celje School of Economics we have had plenty of activities within INVESTT going on since this summer. Just before the summer holidays, our INVESTT partners CUDV Draga provided an opportunity for one of our SEN students to gain some work experience at their Druga Violina Inn in the capital, Ljubljana.

Inclusive training on "social assistance"

As a partner of the transnational project INVESTT (Inclusive Vocational Education and Specialised Tailormade Training), the “Schule für Sozialbetreuungsberufe der Caritas der Erzdiözese Salzburg” started an Inclusive Training on "Social Assistance" as a second step in the project  for people with and without learning disabilities or other persons with disabilities on September, 18th 2014.

Research and Evaluation in the INVESTT project

The whole process of research and evaluation is described in our “Research paper”; this research paper contains five main chapters. It starts with a general introduction which is followed by a chapter about the project. In this part you find a description of the INVESTT project and INVESTT’S overall objectives as well as the project partners.
